Caitlin Mattisson is an illustrator, artist and designer, who currently divides her time between San Francisco and her menagerie in the woods of Sonoma county. Since graduating with a BFA in fashion design and illustration from CCAC she’s worked with a range of professional clientele; doing design, illustration and color consulting. She is the winner of the “Wildcard” entry for San Francisco Center for the Book 2012 Roadworks. She teaches Screen Printing and Illustration for Workshop SF when in the city, and works on metal poster illustrations and painting of girls with sea monsters when in the woods. She is inspired by old horror movies, phantasmagoric music, ancient symbols, folklore, comic books, her silver sable shepherd Trebuchet and the other creatures she can hear moving around in the black dark of the forest.
